You must have access to transport as no public transport is available.
Schedule: 4 on 4 off - work from home for night shift
Day Shift: 08:00 18:00 x 2
Mid Shift: 12:00 22:00 x 1
Night Shift: 20:00 08:00 Work from home post training x 1
Salary: IRO £36,400, increasing to £40,000 after 6-month probation
Main Purpose of the Role: To manage the operational planning of a vehicle fleet to ensure timely and effective delivery to clients while meeting agreed service level agreements.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Proven experience in transport operations and scheduling/route planning
Experience in emergency response or incident management is beneficial but not essential
Clear and effective communication, especially in high-pressure situations involving multiple incidents
Regular liaison with drivers, internal teams, and clients to ensure smooth delivery operations
Responding to commercial queries from the sales team, including job specifications, availability, and delivery advice
Creating clear and accurate work instructions for field staff, including equipment needs and access details
Serving as the first point of contact for out-of-hours emergency response, remaining calm and organised regardless of the situation
Efficient allocation of vehicles and drivers
Advising clients on appropriate delivery solutions in emergency scenarios
Coordinating travel arrangements, accommodation, and necessary expenses to ensure seamless operations
Assisting with cost reporting and supporting the response to courier and doorstep delivery requests on a reactive and planned basis
Ensuring compliance with Working Time Directive and Drivers Hours regulations, in collaboration with the operations team
Supporting vehicle scheduling for servicing, MOTs, and inspections, and reporting technical issues as needed
