Taxation Oversee tax compliance across all markets (UK, ROI & US), including computations and filings. Review of tax figures and disclosures for inclusion in the Group consolidated and Group companies' statutory accounts and other financial documents. Implement and maintain adequate and effective tax controls. Assist with all HMRC enquiries and become a key contact for HMRC. Review and approval of VAT returns. Keep up to date with current tax issues, ensuring the Group remains compliant in all areas. Understand implication of changes in tax legislation and developments, plan and implement accordingly. Work with other departments and project teams around the business as required to ensure tax considerations and requirements are met. Working with external advisors on potential M&A to assess tax risks. Ensuring the Group meets and maintains all compliance requirements across corporation, payroll and indirect tax. Manage transfer pricing studies for all inter-entity transactions. Managing the group effective tax rate, reviewing, proposing and implementing tax planning opportunities to reduce corporate tax rate, minimise indirect taxes and reduce risk to the Group. Ensure significant tax positions are properly researched and documented, including tax considerations of new products and services. Lead on all tax related projects. Treasury Managing Banking relationships Review and oversight of the Groups Treasury Policy. To include documentation and implementation of enhanced Treasury function controls and procedures and liaising with wider finance department and ensure business adheres to these Business Partnering: Ensuring internal stakeholders receive timely and accurate data, decision support, and advice. To include working with wider business on payment solutions and adherence to PCI Security Standards. Manage global treasury policies and ensure proper controls around cash management across all markets. Coordinate with Finance to maintain a close view of our cash forecast and cash positions, optimizing our cash balances while maintaining optimal liquidity levels per entity. Optimise FX Cash positions across all markets. Responsible for weekly monthly treasury reporting, including cash flow analyses. Consideration and utilisation of foreign exchange hedging protocols and ensure proper accounting of any derivatives. Skills Strong tax and treasury skills, with experience in a large company Strong technical skills, including good knowledge of accounting. The ability to bring a commercial view on tax and treasury accounting and have an interest in developing your treasury knowledge. Advanced Excel Skills. Qualifications & Experience Significant Taxation (UK & US) and Treasury experience Relevant Accountancy (ACA, ACCA, etc.) and Taxation (CTA) qualifications Alphatax and AlphaTag Experience. Experience of working in a large corporate environment. Experience of transfer pricing methodologies and implementation. Knowledge of Navision would be beneficial.
