Business Development Manager – WEEE Recycling – West Yorkshire
Salary: Dependent on experience + Company Car or Car Allowance

We’re recruiting on behalf of a growing recycling business for a Business Development Manager to join their team in West Yorkshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about sustainability and eager to play a key role in the company's continued success and expansion.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify, target, and win new business opportunities within WEEE recycling sector.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure long-term retention and satisfaction.
* Attend client meetings, site visits, trade shows, and networking events to generate leads and promote services.
* Work closely with the Head of Operations and Managing Director to align sales strategy with operational capacity.
* Create and deliver tailored proposals, quotations, and service presentations to potential clients.
* Maintain an up-to-date CRM system with accurate pipeline activity and forecasting.
* Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and KPIs.
* Stay current with industry trends, competitor activity, and regulatory updates.
Requirements
* Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a B2B sales or business development role, ideally within: WEEE waste recycling, General waste management/recycling, Environmental services or industrial sectors
* Strong understanding of the recycling industry, compliance, and sustainability challenges.
* Proven track record of building relationships and delivering consistent revenue growth.
* Confident communicator with excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
* Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working autonomously.
* Full UK driving licence (essential).
