Job Purpose
To interrogate IT systems and analyse performance data to support the Department in promoting good practice and ensuring compliance with National, Regional, Force, and Unit targets/timelines. Additionally, to manage the deployment and execution of fail to appear warrants across the Force and on behalf of other Forces, maintaining effective administrative systems to facilitate warrant building and ensure offenders are brought to justice.
Main Responsibilities
* Prepare documentation to support departmental performance reviews.
* Work closely with Criminal Justice Managers to develop performance measures.
* Manage mini reviews/projects as required.
* Carry out performance analysis using internal data and data from partner agencies to facilitate change and promote best practices.
* Provide data in response to Freedom of Information requests.
* Grade warrants according to National protocol, including risk assessment of the wanted person.
* Research and gather information from authorized sources to expedite warrant execution.
* Ensure accurate and timely updates to Force systems.
* Conduct audits for warrants, coordinating with partner agencies.
* Perform other duties as appropriate to the role's level and responsibilities.
Person Specification
Knowledge
* 5 GCSEs grades A–C or 9–4, including English and Maths, or equivalent.
* Good understanding of the Criminal Justice System, particularly regarding offenders who fail to attend court, traffic, crime, and witness care processes.
Experience
* Experience in collating and analysing data, carrying out analysis, and presenting findings.
* Experience attending management meetings and providing performance-related advice.
* Experience preparing performance documentation.
* Experience working independently and in teams.
* Experience prioritising and managing workloads.
Key Skills
* Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Ability to negotiate and influence to achieve outcomes.
* Ability to work under strict deadlines and manage high workloads.
* Proficiency in IT, including Microsoft Office or equivalent.
