Forge Talent are currently engaged with a Market Leading business in South Manchester who are looking to hire an experienced Interim Project Accountant. The role will be for 6 months initially with potential to get extended. Reporting into the Financial Controller, this role is looking to start asap
Key Responsibilities
* Improving the impact, and understanding, of financial reporting on business performance
* Balance sheet reconciliations
* Month end duties
* Document process and procedures
* Contribute to annual budgeting and planning process
* To identify and make recommendations opportunities for the business to improve efficiency.
* Produce financial statements including P&L accounts, cash flows, variance analysis and commentaries
* Ensure alignment of budgets and forecasts with the firm’s strategic objectives.
* Analyse financial performance, including revenue, profitability, utilisation, and cost control
Candidate Requirements:
* Qualified or QBE
* Worked in a similar role previously
* Solid communicator
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Strong systems and excel skills
* Experience of working in a fast-paced environment.
