Temporary HR Assistant - Part Time Salary: £26,000 - £28,000 (FTE) Our client is currently seeking a proactive Temporary HR Assistant to join their People Team on a part-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to develop or build on their HR experience within a busy and supportive environment. As the first point of contact for all HR-related queries, you will play a key role in delivering a high-quality, responsive, and positive employee experience. You will support a wide range of HR processes across the full employee lifecycle while ensuring exceptional service delivery. Key Responsibilities: Act as the frontline contact for HR enquiries, responding promptly via phone, email, and online systems Provide guidance on HR policies and procedures, escalating queries where appropriate Deliver comprehensive administrative support across core HR processes, including onboarding, pre-employment checks, contracts, and employee changes Manage external correspondence such as references and third-party requests Support Employee Relations casework with first-line advice, record keeping, and administrative support Assist in the creation of employee support materials (e.g. guides, videos, webinars) Support the coordination of HR events, including logistics and preparation of materials Maintain accurate records on HR and payroll systems, producing reports and management information Ensure all data is handled appropriately and in line with GDPR requirements Contribute to continuous improvement of HR processes About You: You will be organised, approachable, and detail-oriented, with strong communication skills and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
