We are recruiting for a Part Qualified Accountant to support the monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting requirements of our European legal entities. The successful candidate is required to work 3 days per week in our Gloucester office, with the option of working 2 days per week from home.
Responsibilities
* Perform and support certain monthly closing activities.
* Support preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual reporting for group and statutory reporting purposes for NL companies.
* Support year-end audit process and interim reviews, providing accurate analysis which is insightful and identifies opportunities to the business and management.
* Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations, identifying risks and control improvement opportunities.
* Support NL annual corporate tax preparation process, working with advisors as required.
* Prepare and submit NL government interactions.
* Day to day responsibility for European lease accounting.
* Provide support to Senior Financial Accountant as required.
* Work within team and outside team on NL finance requests
* Support ad hoc projects around continuous improvement of accounting processes and controls.
* Support our internal customers with advice and a point of view.
Essential Requirements
* Part qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA.
* Capable of working autonomously but also works well within a team, supporting colleagues and sharing knowledge.
* Highly motivated to understand how systems and processes work, but not afraid to challenge them and bring innovation and change.
* Ability to focus on detail and accuracy, as well as understanding the bigger picture
* Strong communication skills.
* Fluency (written and spoken) in English.
* Legal right to work in the UK, without the requirement for The LYCRA Company to act as a Visa Sponsor.
Desirable
* Qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA.
* Proficiency in the following languages: Dutch
* Experience using SAP.
