Senior Legal Assistant (Children's) Bolton Council Initial 3-6 month contract Rate: Negotiable (Umbrella) 37 hours per week We are looking for a motivated and organised person to provide support on a range of legal matters relating to the safeguarding of children, public and private law proceedings. They will work closely with the lawyers in the team on allocated cases and be responsible for the management and organisation of their own work and caseload. They will need to ensure the work meets with any quality standards which may be set and may be responsible for the provision of an accurate court bundle where required. Responsibilities include drafting, liaising with internal and external stakeholders, requesting evidence, timetabling, and clerking counsel at hearings where required.
