RESET Lead

Location: WelingboroughContract: Full Time, Term TimeStart Date: ASAP / September 2026Pay - £29,617 0 £31276

An ambitious and inclusive secondary academy in Northamptonshire is seeking to appoint a committed and resilient RESET Lead to oversee and develop its internal RESET provision.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced pastoral, behaviour or inclusion professional who is passionate about supporting young people to succeed both academically and personally.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the RESET provision promotes positive behaviour, strong attendance, meaningful reflection and successful reintegration into learning.

The Role

The RESET Lead will:

* Lead the day-to-day operation of the RESET provision
* Promote high standards of behaviour, conduct and engagement
* Support students to reflect on behaviours and make positive choices
* Ensure students continue to access learning and curriculum continuity whilst in RESET
* Work closely with pastoral teams, parents and teaching staff to improve outcomes
* Monitor behaviour trends and implement targeted interventions
* Support and coach RESET colleagues to maintain a calm, purposeful environment
* Maintain accurate records and contribute to data analysis and reporting
* Uphold safeguarding, inclusion and student welfare at all times

The role requires someone who can build positive relationships while maintaining high expectations and clear boundaries.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

* Experience working successfully with children or young people
* Strong behaviour management and communication skills
* The ability to remain calm, resilient and solution-focused under pressure
* Experience building positive relationships with students and families
* Confidence using IT systems and maintaining accurate records
* A proactive and professional approach with a strong team ethic
* A genuine commitment to inclusion, safeguarding and improving life chances for young people

Experience within a school, pastoral, behaviour or safeguarding setting would be advantageous.
