Summary
As a Nursery Assistant, you will be essential in fostering a nurturing and educational environment for young children. Reporting to the Nursery Manager, your core skills in childcare, early childhood education, and effective communication will help you support children's development and well-being. Your premium skills in management and leadership may also be utilized to guide and mentor junior staff. Additionally, your relevant skills in English and driving will enhance your ability to engage with families and participate in community activities. Responsibilities
* Assist in the daily care and supervision of children in the nursery setting.
* Plan and implement engaging activities that promote early childhood development.
* Communicate effectively with children and parents to ensure a supportive environment.
* Maintain a clean and safe nursery space, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
* Collaborate with other staff members to enhance the overall learning experience.
Qualifications
* Experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting
* Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children and parents
* Background in early childhood education
* Ability to demonstrate leadership and management skills
* Proficiency in English; driving skills are a plus
* Previous nursery experience is highly desirable
