About the Venue: Sky Garden sits at the very top of 20 Fenchurch Street - better known as the 'Walkie Talkie' - one of London's most recognisable landmarks. At 35 floors up, it's home to two restaurants, two bars, and a series of stunning event spaces, all set within a sprawling landscaped garden with sweeping views across the capital. The operation is managed by Rhubarb, a leading luxury hospitality company and part of Oak View Group (OVG) - a global powerhouse in live entertainment and venue management. It's a complex, fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders, high volumes, and absolutely no room for the back of house operation to slip. Role Purpose: We're looking for a reliable, presentable Public Attendant to help keep Sky Garden's public areas - including washrooms and guest-facing spaces - clean, well-stocked, and welcoming at all times. It's a visible, hands-on role and a genuinely important one. The standard of our public spaces directly affects how every guest experiences Sky Garden - and that matters to us. You'll be working as part of a wider operations team, and you'll be the person guests often notice first when they're looking for help or directions. A friendly, professional manner goes a long way here. What you'll be doing Maintaining cleanliness and presentation of all washrooms throughout your shift - checking, restocking, and cleaning on a regular rotation Keeping public areas tidy and well-presented, including corridors, waiting areas, and guest-facing spaces Monitoring consumable stock (soap, paper, etc.) and flagging when supplies are running low Reporting any maintenance issues, hazards, or damage promptly Being a calm, approachable presence for guests - directing them as needed and representing the venue well Supporting the wider operations team during busy event periods What we're looking for Previous experience in a similar role - toilet attendant, cleaning operative, or public-facing facilities work in a hotel, venue, restaurant, or leisure facility - is helpful, but not essential. What matters more is reliability, a positive attitude, and pride in doing the job properly. A conscientious approach and strong attention to detail Comfortable working independently and managing your own time on shift Friendly and professional with members of the public Physically active role - you'll be on your feet and moving throughout your shift Punctual and dependable - the team counts on you Good to know Sky Garden is open seven days a week and operates late into the evening - shifts will include weekends and unsociable hours, particularly around events. The BOH at a venue like this is never quiet, and the role demands someone who genuinely thrives on that.
