Overview
Client Administrator – Marsh Specialty - Credit Specialties (PRSC) – Birmingham is a role within Marsh based in Birmingham. The Client Administrator will work in the Credit Specialties – Political Risk and Structured Credit team, providing support to individual client teams. Responsibilities include assisting with the production of documentation to support the placing of insurance contracts, processing and administering insurance contracts placed, ensuring timely authorisation of documentation, distributing to markets/clients (invoices and Evidence of Cover), and assisting with credit control on payments between the client, market and the Company.
This role is suitable for someone with a demonstrable background in insurance administration/support or a professional Administrator or a recent school leaver/graduate looking to join an established, market leading insurance broker.
Knowledge of Excel (formulas/tables), excellent time management, attention to detail and the ability to multitask are essential.
Responsibilities
* Assist with the production of documentation to support the placing of insurance contracts.
* Assist with the processing and administration of insurance contracts placed.
* Assist in the review and issuance of documentation to evidence insurance contracts placed.
* Assist in the recording and reporting of information on insurance contracts placed.
* Assist colleagues in servicing client accounts, to meet clients’ requirements and support account growth.
* Review and check all documentation for quality and technical accuracy.
* Review and respond to queries and manage these to close in a timely manner.
* Effectively plan and organise workload in order to meet business timescales.
* Collaborate closely with colleagues across Credit Specialties and other areas of the business.
* Self-motivate to achieve team, company and personal objectives.
* Utilise internal and market-facing systems to effectively process and manage the company’s business.
* Depending on seniority and experience, may deal directly with clients, intermediaries and markets to ensure timely and comprehensive servicing.

* Excellent attention to detail, even whilst working under pressure.
* High level of accuracy and consistency.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* The ability to build, manage and develop relationships.
