Telent's Network Services division is seeking a Cloud Engineer to join our successful Engineering team based in Southampton. This role offers the opportunity to work with a talented team of Cloud, Network, and Security specialists, supporting your growth and development as a Cloud Engineer through challenging projects.
The Cloud Engineer will develop and maintain relationships with both internal and external customers, providing proactive service and acting as a bridge between engineering and Service Delivery, Projects, and Service Desk to ensure high customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
* Train internal engineering staff and customers on products and solutions.
* Assist with Professional Services and Sales opportunities within Network Services.
* Monitor customer incidents and report on nominated accounts.
* Highlight trends, security threats, or technical bulletins impacting customers.
* Maintain all documentation and technical information related to customer platforms and Telent Cloud Services.
* Adhere to internal and external processes regarding task allocation, completion, reporting, and change management.
* Assist with Proof of Concept (PoC) scenarios, Type Approval activities, and lab testing.
* Create and review technical documentation such as TA, POC, RFC, WI, and SoW.
* Assist with pre-staging of equipment for customer sites.
* Attend customer meetings such as support reviews and incident reviews.
* Ensure accurate and timely submission of timesheets and expenses.
* Link certifications and training to business objectives.
* Comply with GDPR and security policies.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will have an interest in Cloud technologies, including Azure, Linux, MS SCCM, and MS Exchange, with a willingness to develop these skills. Experience in support environments and on-premise Cloud Services is essential. Desirable certifications include VCP 6.x-DCV and MCSA: Microsoft Windows Server 2016 or above. Strong work ethic, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or in a team are crucial.
