The department is part of the CONTROLLING AND FINANCE global team with the main focus to optimize business processes using standard process and use IT as key tools to add value to the organization. The aim is to increase efficiency in the financial reporting processes and applications for Siemens which operates the world over. Clients/Business Partners are global Head Quarter Functions in Germany as well as similar functions which operate throughout the worldwide organization. You’ll break new ground by: We are looking for a Tableau and Power BI developer who can join our team and work on various projects involving data visualization and reporting. Developing, testing, and deploying Tableau and Power BI dashboards and reports according to the client’s specifications and needs. Collaborating with the business analysts and stakeholders to understand the requirements and provide the best solutions. Designing and implementing user-friendly interfaces and interactive features using UX/UI principles and best practices. Writing complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into the front end. Troubleshooting and resolving any issues related to data quality, performance, or functionality of the dashboards and reports. Documenting the development process and providing technical support and training to the end-users. Staying updated with the latest trends and technologies in the data visualization field. You’re excited to build on your existing expertise, including: A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field. 2-3 years of experience as a Tableau developer or a similar role. Experience in the following: Filters –Quick Filters, Data Source Filters, and Context Filters. Calculated Fields with complex calculations (Level of Detail calculations). Parameters & Hierarchy. Sets, groups and bins. Joins, Unions & Data Blending. Creating various charts including Bars, Stacked Bars, Doughnut Chart, Spider Chart, Waterfall, Sankey, Heatmaps etc with Axis Blending and Dual axis in Tableau. Proficient in Tableau Desktop, Power BI, Office 365. Strong knowledge of MS SQL Server, SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and views. Experience in requirements gathering, analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment of Tableau dashboards and reports. Experience in UX/UI design concepts, and graphic design. Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English are mandatory Good communication and analytical skills, willingness to learn and adopt new technologies Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Knowledge of Java Script (Tableau API/Rest API) would be an added advantage. Join us and be yourself!
