KS1 Teacher Job | Key Stage 1 Teacher | Wakefield | £130–£200 per day | Full-Time
We are currently recruiting a dedicated and enthusiastic KS1 Teacher (Key Stage 1 Teacher) for a full-time role in Wakefield, offering a competitive daily rate of £130–£200 per day, depending on experience.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a supportive primary school, helping pupils develop key foundational skills in Year 1 and Year 2.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging KS1 lessons in line with the national curriculum
Support pupils with phonics, early reading, writing, and numeracy
Prepare pupils for KS1 SATs (Year 2) where applicable
Monitor and assess pupil progress, implementing targeted interventions
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching within Key Stage 1 (KS1)
Strong knowledge of phonics schemes (e.g. Read Write Inc, Letters and Sounds)
Excellent classroom management and communication skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
