What's involved with this role: Temporary Business Services Assistant/Administrator – Housing Reference no: Derbyshire 5246670 Pay Rate: £12.94 per hour PAYE Hours per week: 37 Monday – Friday, normal working hours Role Length: This opening assignment is for 2-3 months City: Ilkeston, Derbyshire The purpose of the role is to provide a flexible, agile and responsive business support service across the Supported Accommodation/Staying Close service. The service strengthens support for those leaving care by improving their connection with the community and family, while improving their mental health and wellbeing, while making positive steps towards independence. The service also monitors accommodation provision for children in care and care leavers. Key Responsibilities: Provide an effective professional administrative support service to the Supported Accommodation/Staying Closes team and functions in accordance with a range of business procedures and processes, ensuring quality service standards are maintained. Carry out a wide range of business services tasks and processes ensuring performance objectives, targets and timescales are met, allocating and prioritising work across the team as the role requires. Co-ordinate work streams within own area of responsibility to manage peaks and troughs in business need. Undertake budget monitoring activities and provide a range of financial data for use in management information reports and accounts reconciliation systems. Represent the business support function at relevant internal and external meetings as required. Develop and maintain document management and record keeping systems in accordance with standard formats and service requirements ensuring compliance with data protection and confidentiality requirements. Deal with day to day enquiries and communications resolving issues and escalating to the appropriate level where necessary. Proven initiative and judgement to resolve day - to-day problems independently. Working knowledge of other areas of the authority relevant to the service. Working in a fast past customer service environment. Extensive knowledge of administration practices. Understanding of data management systems and the ability to interpret and analyse data.
