As a Care Assistant, you will be part of a team that includes nurses, officers, senior carers, kitchen staff, laundry, cleaners, management, maintenance, and activities staff to ensure that all residents' needs are met, including personal hygiene, continence, fluid and nutrition, while protecting their dignity and maintaining a professional relationship.

You will be required to attend St Austell College one day a week as part of your apprenticeship training. You will receive on-the-job and off-the-job training and support from an assessor and an Apprenticeship Advisor.
