Speech and Language Teaching Assistant – Waltham Forest Are you looking for a new position as a Speech and Language Teaching Assistant in Waltham Forest. Pertemps Education is working alongside a 1-form entry primary school who are seeking to appoint an experienced Speech and Language Teaching Assistant to support students of primary age. This will be a part-time, long-term position starting immediately till the end of the academic year. There will be an opportunity to go permanent upon review. The daily rate will be between £115 to £125 depending on your experience. About the school: Roman Catholic primary school based in Waltham Forest 1-form entry mixed co-educational primary school Caters for children aged 4 to 11 years old Rated Good in all areas by Ofsted Inclusive school with a clear commitment to supporting all learners Key responsibilities: Able to work across all aged in primary Carry out SALT sessions for students Supporting students on a 1:1 basis or in small groups Assisting students with Autism and/or additional learning needs Working with other support staff to engage pupils in class and minimise disruption Providing feedback to teachers and parents The ideal candidate: Can work part-time, 2-4 days a week during term time Can work from 08:30 AM to 03:30 PM Have experience working with students with a range of SEND Be enthusiastic and passionate about helping children reach their full potential Comfortable working as part of a team and can form relationships How to apply: You can apply for this role below or get in touch with us directly.
