We are looking for an Industrial Placement Civil or Process Engineer for our Water team to be based in Leeds, from Autumn 2025 - Autumn 2026.
To support future growth across our Early Careers Team, this is an exciting opportunity for an Industrial Placement Student to join our Water team based in Leeds. This will be an office-based placement for up to 12 months. We are ideally seeking a student working towards a degree in Civil Engineering.
In Leeds, we're involved in Yorkshire Water’s Storm Overflow Alliance for their AMP8 capital investment program, providing designs to reduce sewer overflow spills. We also continue our role as Yorkshire Water's Strategic Planning Partner, offering design and consultancy for water infrastructure projects, focusing on sustainability and community service.
Duties
* Supporting technical reports, cost estimates, contract documentation, and management for water projects
* Collaborating with technicians to meet deadlines
* Liaising with design teams and managing deliverables
* Accompanying Senior Engineers on site visits and inspections

About You
To join us, you should be enrolled in an MEng or BEng in Civil or Chemical Engineering, with an interest in Water. You should be:

Please note, the successful candidate needs to work in the office 4 days a week for support.
