Commercial Account Handler – Insurance Location: Loughborough, Leicester Salary: £30-35K Type: Full-Time, Permanent Are you ready to develop your career in commercial insurance within a supportive, growth-focused team? A well-established branch in Loughborough is currently recruiting a Commercial Account Handler to join their busy Commercial team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to build strong relationships across a diverse client base — from sole traders to senior leaders of larger organisations — while working closely with experienced colleagues to support business objectives and exceed service expectations. Role Overview As a Commercial Account Handler, you will: * Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing commercial clients. * Review client documentation with a keen eye for detail to support the quoting process. * Assist Commercial Account Executives in driving high levels of renewal retention, exceeding expectations and meeting FCA requirements. * Process data promptly and accurately using internal systems to support excellent levels of client service and internal process execution. * Work collaboratively with the Branch Manager and other internal stakeholders to achieve team goals. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys varied daily work, and is eager to progress professionally within the commercial insurance sector. What You’ll Bring * Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills. * Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. * A proactive attitude and willingness to learn — every day brings new challenges! * Ability to build and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders. * Previous experience in insurance.
