We're recruiting for a Forensic Administrator to join our team at the Littlemore Mental Health Centre where you'll be working with the Specialist Community Forensic Team (SCFT) based at the Oxford Clinic.
In this role, you'll provide essential administrative and secretarial support to Consultant Forensic Psychiatrists and the multidisciplinary team, ensuring the smooth operation of our forensic services. Your responsibilities will include managing correspondence, organising meetings, maintaining accurate patient records, and supporting event management.
We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and experience in an administrative role. Knowledge of the Criminal Justice System and previous experience in a healthcare setting are desirable.

Key responsibilities
* Produce correspondence and reports as required for the SCFT team; organise and attend meetings, prepare agendas, ensure all appropriate arrangements have been made prior to meetings, including collation and distribution of any relevant papers, take minutes, and ensure their timely delivery. Manage visit monitoring.
* Ensure electronic health records are efficiently maintained and coordinated for the SCFT; receive complex or sensitive information and ensure that the information is shared with the team in a timely manner.
* Enter patient information into Electronic Health Records ensuring the information is entered accurately and in a timely manner. This includes updating demographic information, uploading correspondence, creating new referrals and endings as needed.
* Work with, and support, other forensic administrators to maintain a comprehensive and equitable administrative service. Provide cover for other administrators in times of absence.
* Handle distressing and sensitive phone calls.
Qualifications
* Excellent communication skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office

* Previous experience in a healthcare setting (desirable)
