Charlotte Medical Practice is a friendly and well-established General Medical Practice. We are seeking a dedicated Medical Receptionist/Administrator to join our team. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for patient care, we would love to hear from you.
37.5 hours - Permanent (Monday - Friday)
Key Responsibilities
· Receiving, assisting, and directing patients in accessing the appropriate service or healthcare professional in a courteous, efficient and effective way.
· Providing general assistance to the practice team and projecting a positive and friendly image to patients and other visitors, either in person or via the telephone
· Maintain accurate patient records using clinical systems.
· Handle prescription requests and other administrative duties.
· Uphold confidentiality and data protection standards at all times.
What we are looking for
· Previous experience of working within a medical or reception environment (preferred but not essential)
· Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
· Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
· A team player with a proactive and flexible attitude
