HAYS Architecture & Design NI are proud to be working on behalf of a long-standing client, a leading specialist contractor, in their search for a BIM Controller for their internal Digital Construction Team. Your new role
As a BIM Controller, you will play a critical role in the management of project documentation and ensuringpliance of live and uing projects in lin with ISO 19650 standards. Your responsibilities will be wide-ranging, but in general will lie within the scope of the following:
Setting up, and maintaining,mon Data Environments (CDEs)
Managing document workflows and approvals in line with ISO 19650 protocols
Supporting project teams with structured information delivery and data validation
Coordinating with design, BIM, and construction teams to ensure accurate and timely documentation
Assisting in audits and quality assurance processes related to digital information management.
You will be heavily embedded within project & manufacturing teams working on high-value, fast-paced projects across the UK & Ireland, contributing to the delivery of efficient,pliant and digitally enabled construction solutions.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have proven experience working as a Document Controller or BIM Coordinator (or equivalent) within a construction or design environment, with a corresponding awareness of ISO 19650 and its practical application on live construction projects. You should be equally familiar with CDE platforms (such as Viewpoint, BIM360, Asite or similar) and possess strong organisational andmunication skills. You'll have a Construction / Digital Construction related qualification, and take a proactive and detailed-orientated approach to information management.
