Network Operations Engineer III (Sun - Thur)
Hybrid Role – 2 Days/week required in the office

Ideal role for an advanced CCNA or a CCNP level engineer looking to expand their knowledge of network, security and cloud technologies.
Job Description
The Network Operations Engineer III will support CME’s network infrastructure through monitoring, troubleshooting and change implementation using industry standard best practices. The role ensures the ongoing operation of service to end users & customers, maintaining agreed service levels and aligning with policies, processes and standards to sustain platform stability and delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Acts as a first responder, helping to organize and control incident response.
* Day-to-day monitoring and management of our platforms to ensure internal SLAs, operational KPIs and quality standards are met.
* Handling complex technical support issues.
* Support network faults and troubleshooting in a multi‑vendor, multi‑appliance infrastructure.
* Work closely with other IT teams, vendors and service providers to resolve incidents and service requests.
* Day‑to‑day Technical Operations activities including network and firewall troubleshooting, scripting changes, infrastructure and firmware updates.
* Maintain a positive attitude and a high level of customer service at all times.
* Contribute to the overall development of operational systems and processes.
* Maintain accurate troubleshooting records through industry standard ticketing systems.
* Write technical SOPs and other documentation.
Skills & Experience
* Extensive experience in a fast‑paced, enterprise NOC role (minimum 2nd or 3rd line experience).
* In‑depth support experience with LAN & WAN technologies.
* Exposure to firewalls, load balancing and an understanding of security posture including firewalling, ACLs, industry best practices and internet architectures.
* Experience with VPN: IPSec and SSL.
* Understanding of wireless technologies.
* Experience with ISO and ITIL standards.
* Experience supporting or working with cloud technologies.
* Enterprise firewall certification (Palo Alto, Fortinet, etc.).
* Toolset management experience (SolarWinds or similar).
* WCA (Wireshark Certified) or experience with hardware‑based packet capture systems.
