Adecco are seeking an experienced Contract Management Officer on behalf of their Public Sector client based in South-London.

* Full Time - Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week
* £24.25 per hour PAYE, £31.45 per hour Umbrella
* Hybrid Working - 3 days in office/on site (Croydon), 2 days at home. Flexibility required.

Role Purpose:
The Commercial Management Officer will manage commercial contracts for responsive repairs, ad-hoc capital, cyclical, and pest control services for the Council's housing stock. This includes financial and performance management, data collection, contract setup, monitoring, governance, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Commercial Contract Management:
o Manage contracts for responsive repairs and maintenance.
o Ensure quality and integrity of data for asset and repairs management.
o Monitor financial aspects and prepare performance management information.
2. Data Management:
o Lead data collection and management activities.
o Develop IT solutions for commercial aspects of contracts.
o Set up and maintain databases, dashboards, and reports.
3. Financial Management:
o Monitor and project financials for various contracts.
o Prepare commercial information for budget monitoring and strategic decision-making.
o Reconcile financial data and manage payments.
4. Performance Monitoring:
o Prepare and analyze performance data.
o Develop and maintain performance monitoring processes.
o Identify and address performance issues.
5. Governance and Compliance:
o Ensure compliance with contract terms and governance requirements.
o Conduct audits and maintain contract documents.
o Support project governance and audit-related tasks.
6. Stakeholder Engagement:
o Liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
o Provide commercial management advice and support.
o Engage with residents, tenants, and leaseholders.
Essential Skills and Experience:
* Knowledge:
o Project management tools and techniques.
o Social housing or housing repairs.
o Contract and commercial management.
o Advanced knowledge of MS Office and database/report-writing tools.
* Skills:
o Interpret contract terms and develop commercial delivery requirements.
o Data management and report production.
o Numeracy and analytical skills.
o Advanced Excel skills
o Financial management and budget handling.
o Problem-solving and innovative thinking.
o Interpersonal and communication skills.
* Experience:
o Contract or project management.
o Trained in PRINCE2 and/or demonstrate equivalent experience.
o Financial and performance management.
o Working in multi-disciplinary teams.
o Data management and reporting.
