Clinical Psychologist - Children's LD & Autism
Salary - £60,500 per annum
Full time - Hybrid Working Available
Funded CPD Training
Essential:
* Doctoral qualification (or equivalent) in Clinical Psychology.
* HCPC registration.
* Significant experience in assessment and diagnosis of autism and neurodevelopmental conditions in children.
* Experience of cognitive and neuropsychological assessment and psychological formulation.
* Skilled in delivering evidence-based psychological interventions.
* Experience of MDT working and applying psychology in diverse cultural contexts.
* Strong knowledge of safeguarding, risk management, clinical governance and relevant legislation.
* Excellent communication, report-writing, organisational and interpersonal skills.
Job Responsibilities:
* Deliver specialist autism and neurodevelopmental assessments, including diagnosis, formulation and recommendations.
* Undertake comprehensive psychological and neuropsychological assessments using multiple data sources.
* Provide evidence-based individual and group interventions for children, young people and families.
* Contribute to MDT formulation, care planning, risk assessment and ongoing review.
* Communicate complex and sensitive information (e.g. diagnoses, outcomes) clearly and compassionately.
* Produce high-quality psychological reports and provide consultation to professionals across services.
* Maintain high standards of care in line with CQC, professional and organisational requirements.
