Main Purpose of the Job
To ensure that the purchase ledger reports are run at month end for 5 sites, reviewed, and discussed with Financial Accountants.
Identify where issues need to be addressed, ensuring the transition between the AP and Financial Accounts is streamlined and functioning correctly.
Ensure all reviews are completed monthly with senior authorities and deadlines are met.
Key Responsibilities
This role is for a shared service role covering 6 sites:
1. Run the GRNI consolidation report for Statistics weekly, including negatives, and perform Month End with trend analysis and KPI review.
2. Perform statement reconciliations with GRNI reports - Top 10 quarterly, minimum 50 per quarter.
3. Revisit and drive down the 15+ days in GRNI - statement reconciliations and tick-off exercises, aiming for at least 75% coverage.
o Liaise with Suppliers to obtain copy invoices and check invoices to clear GRNI before sending to AP Clerks.
o Work with AP to resolve problematic invoices/issues for cleaner statement reconciliation.
4. Review GRNI's with Financial Accountants, tying into the Statement Review, to clear negative/positive GRNI.
5. Manage daily GRNI accruals for receipts not invoiced, ensuring balances are correct in GL.
6. Send Negative GRNI Reports to the AP Manager for review.
7. Manage V1 Workflow weekly, including:
* Employee leave management (leaving/starting).
* Setup of new users.
1. Authorize bank change details and liaise with Master Data/Group for supplier bank updates.
2. Cover for holiday leave in capturing and authorizing processes.
3. Ensure compliance with Site Behavioral Standards.
4. Communicate and implement health and safety policies within your areas.
5. Support effective communication at all levels of the business.
6. Drive TLC improvements between AP and Financial Accounting functions.
