An exciting opportunity has arisen for suitably trained and qualified, enthusiastic, and motivated Radiography Assistant Practitioners to join the GJUNH Radiology Team. Full and part-time hours will be considered.
The GJUNH provides essential waiting times imaging for all Health Boards in NHS Scotland, along with specialist imaging services such as the West of Scotland Cardiothoracic Centre, and supports the NHS Golden Jubilee site by providing inpatient imaging. This role will be based in the Plain Film imaging department, providing x-ray imaging under the support and supervision of the Radiographer team. The workload is diverse, with ongoing clinical supervision and CPD provision. You will be required to perform radiographic examinations, providing direct care and maintaining a high-quality, patient-centred diagnostic service. There may be scope to expand your scope to include DEXA scanning, which is located in the main X-ray department.
The department currently provides outpatient services from Monday to Friday between 8 am and 6 pm; therefore, a flexible approach will be required.
