Job Description:
London South Bank University (LSBU) is one of London's largest and oldest universities with 31,000 students and approximately 2,000 staff. Since 1892, the University has provided vocationally-relevant, accredited, and professionally recognized education. LSBU manages a large estate portfolio across Central London, including over 20 buildings totaling 120,000 m2. The university has invested heavily in estate development and has ambitious plans for further growth.
Our mission is to offer industry-relevant degrees that enable students to excel, gain lifelong skills, and meet employer expectations. Our vision is to transform lives and communities through applied education and insight. We aim to make a societal impact by building communities, strengthening society, and promoting equality of opportunity.
The Group Head of Asset Management (M&E) will oversee the delivery of planned preventative maintenance and asset replacement management for LSBU's estate, including campuses at Southwark, Havering, Croydon, Lambeth, and Southwark. The role involves planning and implementing improvements and upgrades to M&E assets as part of estate master planning and organizational development.
This role is suitable for candidates with experience managing large estate operational teams and outsourced contracts. The ideal candidate will excel in stakeholder engagement, team leadership, and customer service, all within budget constraints. Strong technical knowledge of building services is essential.
Application deadline is Sunday, 29th June 2025.
