We are looking for a Fire Door Inspector to join the London Division. Mental Health & Well-being Scheme Development and progression opportunities The Role Attending client sites and inspect fire doors line with the ‘UKAS BlueSky Certification scheme’, Government guidance and the manufacture technical installation or O&M guidance. Attending sites prior to the carpentry team and survey the site for access, health and safety, material storage, specifications of work accuracy against third party information. Quantity survey for materials required to complete the works. Meet with clients on site to discuss site requirements and individual client needs. To handover accepted inspection reports to the passive fire projects manager. The Requirements: Minimum of 3 years experience in a like for like or similar role. Must have a good understanding of third-party accreditation requirements in this field Comprehensive knowledge of passive fire door systems and products such as Flamebreak, Premdor and Vicaima. Knowledge of the 2021 Fire Safety Act Approved document B, BS 476-22 and BS 8214.
