Job Overview

HMP Whitemoor is a Category A male prison located on the outskirts of the market town of March in Cambridgeshire with free parking and an onsite gymnasium.

Healthcare services are delivered from a modern well equipped healthcare centre by a multi-disciplinary team.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will provide leadership for a designated team, including the implementation of systems and processes that will support service delivery and staff within the team.
The post holder will facilitate the dissemination and implementation of policies to ensure governance is firmly embedded within the team.
To provide line management and clinical leadership within the team.
Highlight and facilitate the opportunity of introduction and development of new practices thereby supporting the implementation of key strategic priorities across the team.
Ensure clinicians are supported to achieve commissioning targets and to develop, implement and evaluate service improvement plans within areas of responsibility.
In conjunction with clinical leads ensure the implementation of consistent and high standards of care delivery taking action to identify and address variances.
Establish regular audit schedule and Health and Safety compliance.
