Job Description
We are recruiting for an experienced Senior Officer to support the delivery of electrical services across housing stock in Sheffield. This is a full time role for a 12 month period. Working times are Monday - Friday 8.30-4.30. The team work a hybrid model and this post will spend 70% working out on site with the remainder of time either working in the office or remotely at home.
The job role will include -
1. Delivery of a contract administration service of the operational delivery of our domestic electrical programme and other electrical installation programmes, including security systems such as door entry, CCTV, burglar alarms, care alarms.
2. Implementation and monitoring of on-site quality assurance, defect inspection and handover procedures. This will include issuing site instructions, variations and offering competent, sound technical advice.
3. Carry out joint inspections with Neighbourhood Officers offering assistance and guidance on matters relating to electrical maintenance and improvements to properties
4. To give advice on permission requests from customers relating to changes to electrical installations and to assess and approve the standard of tenants improvements.
5. Undertake inspections and surveys, prepare, produce and present technical and non-technical reports and designs including the making of recommendations and remedial actions
