Cloud Hosting Technology Lead
6 Month contract initially
Based: Wokingham - Onsite
Rate: £300 - £320 (via Umbrella company)

This role also provides an excellent opportunity to gain an active Security Clearance, up to SC level.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the management and delivery of cloud hosting and technology services, ensuring reliability and scalability.
* Define and implement service strategies aligned with business and IT objectives.
* Oversee incident, problem, and change management processes to maintain service stability.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure service expectations and SLAs are met.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service efficiency and effectiveness.
* Manage risk assessments and mitigation strategies for cloud and technology operations.
* Provide leadership and guidance to technical teams, ensuring best practices are followed.
* Monitor service performance metrics and report on key operational insights.
* Ensure compliance with security standards, governance policies, and regulatory requirements.
Key Skills & Experience
* Strong experience in managed services, cloud hosting, and IT service management.
* Expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
* Ability to analyse service performance and implement improvement strategies.
* Experience in leading cross‑functional teams within a managed service environment.
* Knowledge of ITIL frameworks and service lifecycle management.
Shift working will be required: 4 shifts on 5 off a mix of days and nights. Days shifts are 0700‑1900 and night shifts are 1900‑0700. Shift allowance of £400 a month is paid for shift working.
