Reporting to the Head of Security Architecture & Assurance and working very closely with the IT Strategy & Architecture function.
You will develop and implement information security architecture and technology solutions, ensuring IS and compliance requirements are adhered too as we deliver our digital transformation programme and beyond.As the successful candidate you will support the definition of our security architecture for Digital & Data capabilities and create security architecture artefacts (models, templates, standards and procedures) that can be used to leverage security capabilities in projects and operations. You will serve as the information security expert, ensuring alignment between the security architecture frameworks and overall digital strategy. You will work closely with enterprise and functional area architects as well as security specialists, ensuring relevant and adequate security solutions are used throughout all systems and digital platforms.As part of your role, you will conduct research into new technologies, architectures and security products which can help support our digital enterprise.
You will use such research to input into the IT Strategy, reference architectures (for example B2B, Mobile Apps, IOT, Application hosting, cloud integration), as well as contributing to multi-year road maps and investment planning. You will also be experienced in managing 3rd party partners and providers through the various parts of the security programme lifecycle (horizon, RFP/RFI, design, build and operate).The role demands business insight, technical acuity, and the ability to think, communicate and write at various levels of abstraction.This role can be based anywhere in the UK but you might be willing to travel when needed.About youBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or related field (desirable)Extensive experience working in information security architecture or design rolesCertifications such as CISSP, CCSP, TOGAF, SABSA would be an advantageSecurity design experience in at least one major cloud platform (Azure, GCP, AWS)Ability to communicate and build relationships outside the IT function and fosters a collaborative working relationship with various stakeholdersExperience working in an Agile or Scrum environment (desirable)BenefitsCompetitive salaryCompany bonusPension schemeLife assuranceIncome protection25 days holiday plus bank holidaysAnnual Cycle to Work SchemeTPBN1_UKTJ
