Salary: GBP45000 - GBP50000 per annum

Are you a Senior CAD/CAM Programmer looking to take ownership of complex, multi-axis CNC programming in a high-precision engineering environment working with challenging materials and tight tolerances?
This is a senior, technically focused role within a modern machine shop, where you will be responsible for delivering robust, right-first-time CNC programs for 3, 4 and 5-axis machines. You will support both internal production and external customer projects, contributing to fast-paced, high-value manufacturing work.
You will act as a key technical authority on the shop floor, supporting machining teams during prove-out and production, troubleshooting issues, and driving continuous improvement across machining processes. The Role
* Create, optimise and validate CNC programs for 3, 4 and 5-axis machines
* Develop machining strategies for complex geometries and tight tolerances
* Support production teams during prove-out, first-off and production runs
* Troubleshoot machining issues and reduce downtime
* Contribute to continuous improvement and NPI activities
The Person
* Extensive experience as a CAD/CAM Programmer in precision engineering
* Proficient with CAD/CAM software such as Mastercam, PowerMill, HyperMill, NX or CATIA
* Strong understanding of tooling, machining strategies and GD&T
* Calm, methodical and effective under pressure
