Job Title: Technical Project Co-Ordinator Sector: Telecoms and Structured Cabling Location: High Wycombe / Portsmouth Salary: £32 £35K per annum depending upon experience Overview: Operating out of our Head Office based in High Wycombe, or our regional office in Portsmouth, the successful candidate will need comprehensive experience in the administration, co-ordination, scheduling, planning and delivery of complex Structured Cabling, IT and Telecommunications projects. A good level of technical understanding is required along with excellent organisational skills. A strong leader, you will need to be driven to achieve targets in a reactive environment where SLAs need to be met. Working in close conjunction with the General Manager you will play a key role in supporting the daily operational needs of the business. The role will involve liaison with clients / key stakeholders in a fast-paced environment where excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. The ability to make decisions, use initiative and work dynamically is key to this role. Key Requirements & Responsibilities: Coordinating project schedules, resources, equipment and information. Demonstrable experience in the field of Structured Cabling, IT and Telecommunications with a good technical understanding. Collaborate effectively with key clients, ensuring the seamless communication, support, and delivery of the customer's requirements at all stages of the sales and project lifecycle. Nurture strong relationships with both clients and the broader site teams. Regularly evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) and engage with Management, Project Delivery and On-Site Teams to proactively enhance KPI performance. Proactively dealing with new enquiries and tenders, qualifying technical requirement and scope to ensure they are allocated to the correct department within the organisation, often on a short turnaround. Liaising with clients to understand their needs and requirements in sufficient detail to allow a quote to be prepared. Producing and issuing quotations for smaller projects where it is deemed out of scope for the Projects Team. Following up on issued quotations, maintaining records on the CRM ensuring all status, notes and project information is up to date. Assisting in creation of workflow plans, timelines, and resource forecasting. Carrying out administrative tasks, including cross referencing on-site resource times against tracker records, checking timesheets and processing expense claims. Updating and issuing Project Control Documents based on information provided by the Project Managers and issuing project updates to clients. Responding to project status enquiries from clients in a timely manner. Reviewing project cost analysis and reporting them to the General Manager. Scheduling of site surveys and project stand up meetings.
