Overview
NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK, employing around 40,000 staff across a wide range of clinical and non‑clinical professions. The Public Dental Service serves a population of over 1.15 million people and operates within the Health Board area.
Role Details
* 2x fixed‑term Dental Officer posts available for a period of 12 months.
* Shift pattern: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 4:30 pm.
* Cross‑cover location requirements from bases specified throughout the Public Dental Service.
Responsibilities
* Provide clinical and domiciliary dental care for registered and unregistered patients, including paediatric, special care and priority & vulnerable groups.
* Support the delivery of care within the Public Dental Service across multiple sites.
* Work within the 12‑month fixed‑term contract and adhere to the Monday‑to‑Friday shift pattern.
Qualifications
* Registered with the General Dental Council as a dentist.
