Consultant Paediatrician (Community Child Health)
Join Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust as a Consultant Paediatrician in the dynamic Community Paediatric team based at Seaside View Child Development Centre in Brighton. The successful applicant will lead a department (to be agreed) and manage a child development/neurodisability caseload alongside a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
* Provide high quality child health services across community settings, including community hospitals, patients’ homes and bases across Sussex.
* Lead a department and oversee a paediatric resident, foundation doctors, GP trainees and specialist clinicians.
* Develop and implement new approaches to the delivery of child health services.
* Collaborate with CAMHS, the University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust, and local Education and Social Services.
* Participate in training and mentorship for residents and nursing staff.
Qualifications
* Valid registration with the GMC and a Licence to Practice.
* On the Specialist Register for Paediatrics or within six months of admission to the Register at interview.
* Innovative, flexible, and committed to multidisciplinary working.
* Experience in child development or neurodisability pathways preferred.
