OFSTED Registered Manager Children's Residential Care Home
Location: Cornwall
Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Full-Time | Permanent

We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced OFSTED Registered Manager to lead our new residential home in beautiful Cornwall, offering children a safe, stable, and supportive environment in which they can thrive.
We specialise in delivering exceptional care and support to young people with complex needs, including behaviours that challenge and mental health difficulties. As a Registered Manager, you will be expected to go above and beyond to create meaningful, lasting experiences for young peoplehelping to shape positive memories of childhood that they will carry into adulthood.

Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the home in accordance with OFSTED regulations to achieve and maintain Good or Outstanding ratings
* Develop and manage a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment for children aged 8-18
* Drive forward the homes vision and values in line with Shining Stars Residentials therapeutic and holistic care approach
* Manage, mentor and support a team of care professionals
* Ensure each child has an individual care plan that reflects their specific needs and goals
* Work closely with education providers, health care teams, and local authorities to ensure joined-up care
* Take accountability for budgets, compliance, safeguarding and continuous improvement
About You:
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
* Proven experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy with extensive experience in children's residential care
* Deep understanding of OFSTEDs Quality Standards and Children's Homes Regulations
* Passionate about providing trauma-informed, therapeutic care
* A confident leader who values team wellbeing and development
* Excellent communication and multi-agency collaboration skills
