School Support Assistant (Health and Wellbeing Faculty) Craigroyston Community High School Salary: £26,806 - £27,032 (pro-rata for part-time and sessional) School Support Assistant required to provide practical and organisational support to the Health & Wellbeing faculty, ensuring that Home Economics and Physical Education resources, equipment and environments are prepared, maintained and managed effectively to support high-quality learning and teaching. Order, receive and check deliveries of food ingredients and departmental supplies Store and organise ingredients in accordance with food hygiene and stock rotation procedures Prepare ingredients, materials and equipment for practical lessons under the direction of teaching staff Assist with the preparation and clearing of kitchen areas before and after lessons Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene within kitchen and food preparation areas Collect, launder, dry and organise PE kit as required Experience of working in a practical environment (e.g. kitchen, cleaning, or similar setting) is desirable. Experience of working with children or in a school environment is desirable.
