MANUFACTURING SERVICE TECHNICIAN - Mechanical - 12 month contract
Salary: £27.90 (inside)
Location: Barnoldswick
My client is a global aerospace leader, and due to new business contacts they seek a Maintenance Technician to join their team on an initial 12 month contract.
As a Maintenance Technician you will be doing:
* Perform a range of routine, reactive, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance tasks
* Installations, diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on mechanically bias machines
* Ability to perform alignment and geometry checks
* Utilise hand tools and test equipment to deliver customer requirements.
* Coordinate workload and mechanical activities with customers
* Work with site Manufacturing Engineers to help understand and restore equipment
* Work to control standards and procedures
Experience and skillset - Maintenance Technician
* MUST HAVE completed an advanced modern engineering apprenticeship and an NVQ/SVQ/City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent qualification.
* Good understanding of Maintenance operations and fault finding
* Basic IT literacy and ability to work to engineering drawings.
