With over thirty brands under our family tree and headquarters in more than twenty countries, our roles are diverse and our opportunities are endless. When, we say we're a great place to work, we have the proof to back it up. Over the past 12 years we've been voted a 'Great Place to Work' including one of the Best Workplaces for Wellbeing and Best Workplaces for Women. Together, we live and breathe our number one philosophy, our people, and turn up each day driven by our purpose to open up the world for those who want to see. Put simply, we're a bunch of travel lovers looking for more travel lovers to join our family.

About The Role

As a Solution Architect, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering innovative, scalable, and cost-effective technology solutions that support our travel management platform across Europe. Working closely with product, engineering, operations, and commercial stakeholders, you will translate business needs into robust end-to-end solution designs that enhance the customer journey, optimise operational efficiency, and support long-term growth.

You will lead solution design across complex environments, integrating internal platforms, legacy systems, and third-party travel technologies. From early concept development through to delivery, you will provide architectural guidance, support project planning, and ensure solutions align with enterprise standards, security requirements, and strategic objectives. You'll also evaluate emerging technologies and continuously identify opportunities to improve processes, performance, and user experience.

About You

The ideal candidate will have a strong balance of technical depth, business acumen, and stakeholder engagement skills. You enjoy solving complex problems, can see the bigger picture, and are confident influencing outcomes across multidisciplinary teams. You are analytical, pragmatic, and proactive, with a passion for continuous improvement and learning.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred)
Experience within travel, hospitality, or service-based industries is highly desirable

Proven experience designing and integrating complex systems, including third-party APIs (e.g. travel booking platforms such as Amadeus or Sabre)
Solid understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g. TOGAF, Zachman)
Knowledge of microservices architecture, system integration patterns, and security best practices

Core competencies

Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills, with the ability to produce practical, scalable solutions
Excellent communication skills, able to clearly articulate architectural concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Commercially minded, with the ability to balance business needs, data integrity, and security
Highly organised with strong time-management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
