Responsibilities
* Site Security & Access: Acting as a key holder, responsible for the security, locking, and unlocking of the school buildings and site.
* Maintenance: Undertaking a wide variety of minor repairs and general maintenance tasks (e.g., plumbing, painting, joinery) as directed by the Estates Manager.
* Site Management: Ensuring the school grounds and buildings are consistently clean, safe, and well-presented.
* Health & Safety: Assisting with maintaining H&S compliance, including regular checks and risk assessments.
* Teamwork: Being a proactive part of a dynamic maintenance team, working together to maintain and improve the site.
* We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to be the heart of our school's upkeep, primarily working a 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM shift. This unique schedule means you\'ll play a vital role in the secure closure of the site and prepping for the next day. * A calm, positive, and highly flexible approach, comfortable with varied responsibilities where every day is different and very busy.
* Excellent organisational skills and a keen eye for detail and presentation.
* Reliable and confident in following all relevant Health and Safety procedures (e.g., COSHH, manual handling).
* Strong team-player mentality with effective communication skills to liaise with staff, students, and external contractors.
