A Subway Shift Supervisor/Team Leader manages daily restaurant operations, focusing on delivering excellent customer service, ensuring food safety compliance, and motivating staff to maintain high quality and efficiency. Key responsibilities include food prep, cash handling, cleaning, inventory control, and guiding "Sandwich Artists" during shifts. Key Responsibilities & Duties
* Operational Leadership: Manage shifts, open/close the store, and ensure all brand, health, and safety standards are met.
* Customer Service & Sales: Drive high-quality service, resolve customer complaints, and ensure fast, friendly service.
* Team Supervision: Coach, train, and direct staff, including monitoring performance and managing team morale.
* Food Safety & Quality: Maintain strict food hygiene, ensure proper food preparation/storage, and follow safety protocols.
* Administrative & Inventory Tasks: Handle cash, process paperwork, check in deliveries, manage inventory, and minimize waste.
Requirements & Qualifications
* Previous experience in food service, particularly in a supervisory or shift lead role, is typically required.
* Strong customer service and communication skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make quick decisions.
* Flexibility with scheduling, including weekends and evenings.
