Job Title: Learning Support Assistant

Are you a committed, caring person who has a passion for assisting students in their academic journey?
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will be supporting local Schools, helping the pupils develop their education and assist the class teacher in delivering their lessons. Your role will include creating lesson plans, documenting progress and overseeing lesson preparation.
The right candidate will have the responsibility to be professional, confident and creative in the classroom. You will help pupils stay focused during class hours, and supervise group activities. Provide a healthy and safe learning environment for the children. The successful candidate will be passionate about education with the ability to motivate and support students as well as being creative, well organised and able to deliver dynamic lessons to a diverse range of students.
Responsibilities & Experience
* Support students one-on-one or in small groups, helping them with their schoolwork and emphasising the learning objectives.
* Implement lesson plans in conjunction with teachers to provide each student the specific attention they require to succeed.
* Take part in extracurricular activities and school-sponsored events to improve your education overall.
* Organise and arrange the supplies and materials for the classroom.
* Possess an Enhanced Child Workforce DBS registered on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education).
