Duties
* Supervise and manage kitchen staff, ensuring effective teamwork and communication.
* Oversee food preparation processes to maintain quality and presentation standards.
* Implement and uphold food safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
* Develop menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
* Train and mentor kitchen staff in culinary techniques and best practices.
* Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
* Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area at all times.
Requirements
* Proven experience in a culinary leadership role, preferably as a Chef Manager or similar position.
* Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food preparation.
* Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
* Proficiency in culinary techniques with a passion for high-quality food production.
* Exceptional organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of kitchen operations.
