Manufacturing & Production Operative Join our dynamic team in the manufacture and production of high-quality wood and metal products, including flooring panels. Key Details: Working days: Monday to Friday Hours: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM (30-minute unpaid lunch break) Pay rate: £12.21 per hour Key Responsibilities: Work collaboratively to produce flooring panels and other related products. Organise and complete tasks efficiently according to the provided work schedule. Ensure a clean and safe work environment by following Health & Safety regulations, removing scrap, and maintaining workspace cleanliness. Manage supplies by checking inventory, loading materials for transportation, and ensuring proper storage. Support production processes by inspecting, sorting, weighing, measuring, cutting, trimming, and preparing materials. Maintain accurate work records, including production statistics and inventory usage. Stay up to date with industry best practices through training and development opportunities. Contribute to company success by taking responsibility for your workload and seeking ways to enhance job performance. Skills & Qualifications: Experience with lifting, planning, and inventory control. Basic maths skills relevant to manufacturing tasks. Familiarity with equipment maintenance and power tools. Previous manufacturing experience (minimum 1 year preferred). Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team. Quick thinking and problem-solving ability.
