Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant Location: England, Greater London, Croydon Job Type: Contract, expected to work Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £90 - £100 Per day Benefits: PAYE Job Description: We are currently seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team in Croydon, Greater London. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting students with special educational needs in their learning and development within the classroom setting. Job Duties: Provide one-to-one support to students with special educational needs Assist in the implementation of individual education plans Support the classroom teacher in delivering tailored lessons Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment Monitor and track student progress Required Qualifications: Minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools Experience working with children with special educational needs Good understanding of SEN provisions and strategies Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills: Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant is desirable Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively within a team Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in supporting student development Preferred Qualifications: Additional training or qualifications in SEN support Experience working in a similar role within an educational setting Working Conditions: This role involves working full-time hours on a contract basis within a school environment. The successful candidate will be required to adhere to school policies and procedures, and work collaboratively with teaching staff and other professionals to support student learning.
