We are currently seeking a skilled Electrical Craftsperson to join our friendly and dedicated team at Tarmac Aberthaw Cement Plant.

Main Responsibilities
* Maintaining, fault-finding, and repairing electrical and control systems used in plant operations.
* Demonstrating a strong commitment to health, safety, and environmental standards, ensuring safety is always your top priority.
* Developing a thorough working knowledge of plant equipment including instrumentation, PLCs, DCS/SCADA systems, LV & HV motors, switchgear and control gear, AC/DC systems, variable speed drives, and specialist control panels.
* Carrying out mechanical maintenance repairs where required (e.g., bearing replacement, device alignment).
* Working flexibly, with potential weekend or split day shift requirements.
The Ideal Candidate
* Proven experience as a qualified electrical craftsperson or in process control maintenance.
* 18th Edition Electrical Wiring Regulations certification.
* Multi-skilled engineering maintenance background.
* Experience with PLC systems.
* Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work independently when required.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* A flexible, proactive, and safety-conscious approach to work.
