Territory Manager – Racketsports (North UK)
We are currently seeking a Territory Manager (TM), Racketsports, field based in North UK and responsible for the sales and distribution of Wilson racketsports products within the sales territory. The Territory Manager represents the Wilson Racketsports business and is the Face of the Wilson Brand in their area of responsibility, connecting with consumers, customers, coaches, juniors and Federations.
Responsibilities
* Own the Wilson brand in your territory, increase brand presence and image with customers and consumers to drive sales and distribution, achieve and exceed annual sales and product category objectives, and expand market share by customizing sales strategy and adhering to sell‑in timelines.
* Develop and maintain great working relationships with racketsports enthusiasts and community in your territory (club owners, club directors, teaching professionals, pro‑shop managers, league coordinators, academy coaches, etc.).
* Be highly attentive to in‑store brand presence, working with the marketing team to ensure best‑in‑class execution.
* Analyze and report on key business information and trade‑related matters.
* Achieve KPIs relating to demand creation and sell‑thru.
* Develop and negotiate agreements with clubs, academies, schools and local federations.
* Deliver inspiring on‑court demo experiences that lead to immediate product sales and be an active, visible participant of the sport, growing the influencer community in collaboration with the PR/marketing team.
* Recruit and manage high‑visibility teaching pros to enhance promotion of Wilson racketsports.
* Identify talent within coaches, juniors and local heroes in the region in collaboration with external scouts and tour team.
* Execute the grassroots strategies supporting brand key initiatives.
* Live within your territory.
Qualifications
* 5+ years experience in sports, lifestyle or outdoor brands at key‑account or territory‑manager level – or equivalent commercial roles.
* Degree level education or equivalent work experience.
* Passion and enthusiasm for all racketsports and active membership in the rackets community.
* Product expertise in tennis and padel.
* Hunter mindset, strong negotiation and networking skills.
* Consumer‑centric approach and eagerness to support seamless consumer experience within the OC approach.
* Entrepreneurial and proactive mindset with fast response time / follow‑up with accounts (max 24 hrs).
* Availability to work during weekends for demos during the high season (with time off in lieu).
* Analytical skills, budget, coordination and planning abilities; well organized and able to execute multiple tasks and projects.
* Excellent understanding of social media landscape and digital savviness.
* Excellent written and spoken communication skills in the local language and fluent English.
* Valid driving licence.
* Strong Microsoft and systems capability.
